THE OPPORTUNITY
n
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. This is a established permanent position created in response to our growing project portfolio and our strategic shift to cost-plus contract delivery. You will work directly with our Managing Director and Project Managers to ensure every contract is administered with precision, integrity, and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
- Develop, review, negotiate and administer contract terms, variations, extensions and addenda in accordance with relevant legislation and industry standards
n
- Prepare, review and finalise subcontractor and supplier agreements, progress claims and supporting documentation
n
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all contractual documents, correspondence and project files
n
- Liaise with Project Managers, Architects, Estimators, contractors, clients and government authorities to facilitate contract execution and resolve issues
n
- Manage procurement processes for subcontractors, suppliers and service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery
n
- Monitor project budgets and progress claims; track variations and adjustments to work orders in real time
n
- Supervise contractor performance against contractual terms, quality standards and project timelines
n
- Prepare regular reports on contract performance, variations and project status for senior management
n
- Ensure all records comply with company policy and applicable legal requirements
n
- Respond promptly to contract-related enquiries and resolve disputes in a timely and professional manner

ABOUT YOU
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- Minimum AQF Diploma (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Construction Management, Contract Law, Accounting or a related field, or at least 3 years of directly relevant experience in lieu
n
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end contract administration, including review, negotiation, variation management and compliance monitoring
n
- Sound understanding of financial reporting, cost control and progress claim procedures, ideally in a construction or project environment
n
- Experience working with cost-plus and/or lump-sum construction contracts is highly regarded
n
- Proficiency with contract management software, document management systems and the Microsoft Office suite
n
- Strong analytical and risk management skills with meticulous attention to detail
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with multiple stakeholders
n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across multiple live projects
n
