Job Description
Are you an experienced Clinical Nurse with a passion for mental health? We're seeking a dedicated clinician for a rewarding rural and remote contract supporting communities across the Mackay Hinterland.
n
This is an excellent prospect to work within a multidisciplinary team while making a genuine impact in regional Queensland. Applicants have the flexibility to be based in Moranbah or Mackay, with outreach to the Hinterland as required.

About the Role
n
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll provide specialist mental health assessment, case management and therapeutic interventions across a diverse range of services, including:
n
n
- Adult Mental Health
n
- Child & Youth Mental Health
n
- Acute Care
n
- Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Services
n
n
You'll work collaboratively with consumers, families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, recovery focused care across rural communities.
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Demonstrated mental health case management experience
n
- Competent in performing ECGs
n
- Current Basic Life Support
n
- Ability to meet all mandatory Queensland Health compliance requirements
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
- AOD case management experience
n
- Experience working with children and adolescents
n
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2016
n
- Experience using CIMHA, ieMR and ATODS-IS
n
- Previous Queensland Health or Australian mental health experience
n
n
