About the role:

n

The Everybody Active (EBA) Program is dedicated to increasing access to physical activity by fostering inclusive environments where people with a disability can participate fully. In this client-focused role, you'll provide tailored physical and emotional support to help individuals thrive.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Supporting clients in accessing and using our facilities including the Health Club, Group Fitness classes and Aquatics/Hydrotherapy areas
n
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
n
- Performing safe and effective manual handling techniques
n
- Encouragement, emotional support and connection between Support Officer and client
n
- Providing personal care (as required and agreed upon prior)
n

n

Training will be provided for these duties.

n

About you:

n

To be successful in this role you will have;

n

n
- Proven leadership experience and a track record of achieving results in the leisure industry, along with relevant tertiary qualifications
n
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with people of all abilities
n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team that champions inclusivity and diversity
n




- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the evolving needs of EBA clients and the program
n

n

Qualifications and Experience

n

n
- Level 2 First Aid with CPR (or be willing to obtain)
n
- Manual Handling Training (or be willing to obtain)
n
- Working with Children's Check (or be willing to obtain)
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or be willing to obtain)
n
- Current Driver's license (desirable)
n
