Job Description

n

We are looking for a experienced Heavy Combination driver to join our team in Roma. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the protected delivery of fuel to various customers within theregion.

n

n
- Permanent, full-time opportunity

- Guaranteed minimum of 70 hours per fortnight + flat hourly rate for all overtime + allowances
n
- Sunday & Public Holiday penalty rates

Tasks and Responsibilities:

n

n
- Loading, transportation and delivery of fuel products to retail, commercial, agricultural & industrial customers
n




- Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
n
- Manage fatigue and perform log book duties
n
- Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers
n
- Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
n
- Carry out all duties within set timeframes and follow instructions
n

n

Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Must have a valid HCLicence and experience in an HCvehicle
n
- Fuel experience beneficial, however not necessary
n
- Lowes are able to assist in obtaining the following requirements where appropriate:n n
- Dangerous Goods licence considered an advantage
n
- BFM Statement of Attainment
n
- Forklift license is considered an advantage
n
- Commercial Driver Medical Fitness
n

n
- Clean driving record and a commitment to a safe work environment
n
- Dedication to achieving high standards of safety
n
- Great customer service and friendly attitude
n
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
n
