Responsibilities

- Assisted in planning menus, estimating food requirements, and maintaining appropriate stock levels to support efficient kitchen operations.

- Monitored the quality of raw ingredients and inspected finished dishes to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.

- Supervised food preparation and coordinated kitchen activities to ensure timely service during busy restaurant and function periods.

- Ordered, received, and stored food supplies, ensuring correct stock rotation and minimizing food wastage.

- Ensured compliance with Food Safety, HACCP,



and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations by maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.

- Trained, supervised, and supported junior chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safe work practices, and quality standards.

- Operated and maintained commercial kitchen equipment safely while ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen setting.
n
- Prepared meals for functions, events, and special dietary requirements while maintaining quality and consistency.

- Worked closely with the Head Chef and front‐of‐house team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
