March Partners is a client-focused advisory firm for privately owned Australian business owners. We work on the strategic side, tax structuring, virtual CFO, exit planning, ESOPs and business valuation, helping owners grow, protect and realise the value of what they've built. The compliance is taken care of properly underneath. The firm is growing, and we're building the team.

The role

n

We're looking for a Supervisor or Manager to lead the compliance and advisory work for a portfolio of privately owned business clients. It's not compliance-only. You'll get the fundamentals right, but you'll also be across the higher-value work: structuring, tax planning, valuations, capital decisions, and working closely with owners as they grow. You'll work directly with the founder and have a real say in how the firm develops.

What you'll be doing

n

Managing a portfolio of business clients (companies, trusts, partnerships)

n

Reviewing and preparing financial statements and tax returns

n

Overseeing BAS/IAS and compliance

n

Advisory work: structuring, tax planning, budgets and cash flow, Division 7A, ESOPs

n

Mentoring junior staff as the team grows

n

About you

n

Business services experience in Australian public practice (5 years)

n

Strong technically and comfortable in Xero

n

Client-focused, take ownership, and care about doing great work

n

Keen to use AI and technology to work smarter

n
