About the Role

n

North Geelong Medical Clinicis looking for a vibrant and committed Registered Nurse to join our nursing team. We are a private general practice with a strong commitment to community health and wellbeing. The role is 3 days per week on a Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with no evenings, weekends, or public holidays. As part of this team, you will be integral to the running of our busy treatment room.

Care delivery includes [but not limited to]

- Acute and chronic wound management
n
- Child and adult immunisations
n
- Chronic Disease Management and care planning
n
- Assisting with minor procedures and iron infusions
n
- Preventative health strategies
n
- Cold chain management and infection control
n




- Maintaining recall and results systems
n
- Stock management and ordering
n

n

Candidate attributes

n

n
- Demonstrated nursing experience in general practice or primary care setting
n
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
- Flexibility with availability
n
- Experience in childhood vaccinations and the National Immunisation Program
n
- Familiarity with the accreditation standards for General Practice [RACGP standards]
n
- Experience in Chronic Disease Care planning
n
- Commitment to community health and preventative health strategies
n
- Experience with Best Practice Software
n
- Experience in Aged Care settingsCommitment to Quality Improvement
n
- Solid organisational skills
n
- Ability to work as a team or autonomously
n
- Keen attention to detail
n
