Finishes Foreman / Senior Site Supervisor High-Rise Residential Development

n

A leading Melbourne-based property and development group is seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman / Senior Site Supervisor to join the delivery team on one of the high‐rise residential developments.

n

This is an opportunity to join a major 50+storey apartment development currently progressing through the final stages of construction. With apartments valued in the region of $600k–$800k each and a total development value of approximately $100m–$150m, this is a large‐scale, high‐quality project requiring an experienced and hands‐on finishes professional.

The Opportunity

n

The project is now entering a critical stage of delivery, with a strong focus on the coordination and completion of internal and external finishes.

n

The successful candidate will take ownership of the finishes stage of the project, overseeing a large number of specialist subcontractors and trades to ensure works are completed to the required standard, programme and quality expectations.

n

You will be responsible for coordinating approximately 30–40 tradespeople and subcontractors, including teams working across:

- Plastering
n
- Windows and glazing
n
- Painting
n
- Internal finishes
n
- Defects and rectification
n
- Other specialist finishing trades
n

The Role

n

As the Finishes Foreman / Senior Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Managing and coordinating multiple finishing trades and subcontractors on site.
n
- Overseeing the delivery of works across the final stages of a major high‐rise residential project.
n




- Ensuring subcontractors deliver works to the required quality, programme and project standards.
n
- Coordinating approximately 30–40 workers across multiple trade packages.
n
- Managing the sequencing and interface between different finishing trades.
n
- Reviewing drawings and plans to ensure works are being delivered correctly.
n
- Identifying issues early and proactively following up with subcontractors to resolve them.
n
- Monitoring progress and ensuring trades remain on programme.
n
- Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship across the project.
n
- Coordinating works across windows, painting, plastering, high‐level services and other finishing packages.
n
- Working closely with the broader site team to ensure smooth project delivery.
n
- Assisting with the identification and rectification of defects.
n
- Ensuring the project is delivered to a high standard through to completion.
n

About You

n

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Finishes Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisor or Senior Site Supervisor with a solid background delivering large‐scale residential projects.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Significant experience working on high‐rise residential or large‐scale apartment developments.
n
- Strong experience managing the finishing stages of major construction projects.
n




- A background overseeing multiple subcontractors and specialist trades.
n
- Experience managing teams of 30+ workers and multiple trade packages.
n
- Strong knowledge of finishing trades, including plastering, windows, painting and services interfaces.
n
- The ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
n
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
n
- The ability to identify issues and proactively follow them through to resolution.
n
- Excellent trade and subcontractor management skills.
n
- A strong understanding of sequencing and programme.
n
- The confidence and experience to manage subcontractors and hold them accountable for delivery.
n
- A practical, hands‐on approach to site management.
n
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
n
