About the role
n
As an HSE Coordinator, you serve as a specialist consultant providing support to Operations Sites, HSE Manager, Quality Function, and the national business as required. Provide support to the line management teams, . Monitor compliance with all applicable government legislation/ regulations/ permits/ approvals/ consents as the minimum requirement for all BOC activities and support and drive sites to achieve improvements, develop compliance programs/systems.

Other key responsibilities will include:
n

- Support safety performance across Major Hazard Facilities (MHF)
n
- Monitor and review critical safety controls
n
- Conduct risk assessments and support hazard identification activities
n
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Safety Cases
n
- Partner with site teams to embed safe work practices
n
- Support MHF audits and regulatory interactions
n
- Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, and approvals
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes
n
n
To be considered for this role
n
At least 3 years' experience in HSE, ideally within chemical, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar environments
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred), with formal HSE qualification or equivalent experience
n
Solid understanding of risk management, safety systems, and regulatory compliance
n
Experience in incident investigation methodologies (e.g. ICAM, MORT, Causal Tree) desirable
n
Audit experience, with Lead Auditor certification (ISO9001 and/or HSE) desirable
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence operational teams
n
Willingness to travel across Victoria and Tasmaniaand an understanding of the legislative requirements
