This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Company Accountant to join a professional finance team based in the Western Suburbs.

About the Chance

n

As the Company Accountant, you will take on a hybrid position of financial and management accounting. You will report to the Finance Manager and will be required to communicate the financial position to the management team.

n

The position is primarily responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the balance sheet and P&L; statement. This encompasses all Balance Sheet reconciliations, monthly management accounts, tax returns and statutory reporting.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

n

- Maintaining Balance Sheet and P&L;, including all reconciliations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
n
- Managing the end-to-end month-end process, including preparing journals, accruals, and ensuring sub-ledger integrity.
n
- Delivering daily and monthly sales analysis, FBT reporting, GST reporting,



and statutory returns for government agencies.
n
- Providing financial planning analysis, including project support, budget activity, and trade spend analysis.
n
- Identifying and implementing efficiencies within the commercial finance team to enhance framework support and analytical capability.
n

Ideal Profile

n

n
- You will be CA/CPA qualified, with 3 years industry experience.
n
- Knowledge & understanding of tax effective accounting, statutory accounts & tax returns
n
- Deep understanding of AP, AR & Payroll controls
n
- Exceptional communication skills, the the ability to manage ambiguity of an agile and constantly changing environment
n
- Previous experience in a similar role with a deep understanding of General Ledger, tax-effective accounting, and statutory accounts.
