Job Description

TKR Plant Hire (Thomas Kingsley Resources Pty Ltd) is seeking multiple experienced Excavator Operators to join our team on a full-time basis. These roles based in multiple locations in SE Qld and northern NSW where you will operate heavy plant and machinery to support our construction and resource projects. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavation equipment, playing a critical part in the successful delivery of our projects. These roles require skilled operators that can work independently and as part of a team on active construction sites.

Key responsibilities

n

Operate excavation equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements and project specifications including GPS

n

Conduct pre-operational inspections and daily maintenance checks on excavation machinery

n

Follow all relevant safety protocols, site procedures and legislative requirements at all times

n

Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other operators and team members to ensure smooth project execution

n

Grade, excavate and move materials as directed to support project timelines and specifications

n

Maintain accurate records of machinery operation and any reported issues or damage

n

Respond promptly to maintenance requirements and report any equipment faults immediately

n

Contribute to a positive and safe workplace culture on site

n

What we're looking for

n

Current and valid Excavator Operator certification

n





Minimum 2 years proven experience operating excavators on construction or resources projects

n

Strong working knowledge of excavation machinery operation, maintenance and safety requirements

n

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety compliance and best practice

n

Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others
