TV & Home Theatre Installer

Hang My TV is one of Melbourne's most experienced AV installation teams — 15+ years in the industry and more than 15,000 TVs installed — and we're expanding. We're looking for a hands‐on installer to join us full time, working on jobs across Melbourne.

You'll install wall‐mounted TVs mostly, Sound Bars, home theatre systems, distributed audio, and smart wiring solutions in customers' homes. Full training on our products and technologies is provided — this is a outstanding pathway into the custom AV installation industry for someone from a building or construction background.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

n

n
- Install wall‐mounted TVs, home theatres, and audio systems to a high standard
n
- Work both within a team and independently on your own jobs
n
- Deal directly with customers in their homes — professionalism and presentation matter
n




- Problem‐solve on site: every home and every install is different
n

n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

n
- 1–2 years of trade experience in building or construction (essential)
n
- Handy on the tools with a solid understanding of basic construction
n
- Great people skills — you'll be the face of our business in customers' homes
n
- Thorough, reliable, and someone who enjoys a technical challenge
n
- Basic computing/tech skills; AV installation experience is a bonus, not a requirement
n

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Full Australian driver's licence (a company vehicle is provided)

- Australian permanent residency or citizenship
