About the Opportunity

n

An established civil contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to play a key role in the delivery of a major greenfield infrastructure project in Western Sydney.

n

This is an opportunity to join a well-resourced team delivering a complex civil package including bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities and associated infrastructure.

n

This role will suit a proactive supervisor who enjoys being on the front foot, thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands that successful projects are built through planning, communication and strong site leadership.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site activities while ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme.

n

A major focus of the role will be forward planning; coordinating labour, plant, subcontractors and materials to ensure works remain ahead of schedule and potential issues are identified well before they impact delivery.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead the daily delivery of civil construction activities across multiple work fronts.
n
- Develop and manage short-term look-ahead plans to keep works progressing efficiently.
n
- Coordinate subcontractors, plant, labour and materials to meet programme requirements.
n
- Identify upcoming constraints and proactively implement solutions before they impact productivity.
n
- Work closely with Project Engineers and the Project Manager to maintain programme and productivity.
n
- Lead daily pre-starts and coordinate weekly planning meetings with delivery teams.
n
- Monitor safety, quality and environmental compliance across all site activities.
n




- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and client expectations.
n
- Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.
n
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing site culture.
n

About You

n

You are an experienced Civil Site Supervisor with a proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure or subdivision projects. You are highly organised, commercially aware and recognised for your ability to plan ahead rather than simply react to issues as they arise.

You will bring:

n

n
- Proven experience supervising civil infrastructure projects.
n
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
n
- Experience coordinating subcontractors across bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, pavements and underground services.
n
- The ability to develop and manage look-ahead programmes and short-term construction planning.
n
- Solid knowledge of civil construction sequencing and critical path activities.
n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
n
- A proactive leadership style with a strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.
n
- Relevant industry qualifications including White Card and Supervisor qualifications (highly regarded).
n
