Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 1st Year Light Vehicle Apprentice to join one of our host employers in Dandenong, VIC. You'll gain hands‐on experience in a modern workshop while completing an AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, learning from experienced technicians who specialise in hybrid and electric vehicles.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll learn how to:

- Service, maintain and repair light vehicles.
n
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
n
- Perform routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.
n
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
n
- Assist with battery system inspections and high‐voltage safety procedures under qualified supervision.
n
- Follow manufacturer procedures and workplace safety standards.
n
- Support the day‐to‐day operations of a professional automotive workshop while developing your trade skills.
n
