Job Description
Join our current program supporting young people across Darling Downs. You'll be part of a service that works closely with local Hospital and Health Services to deliver an integrated model of care, combining clinical insight with psychosocial support.

As a Psychosocial Youth Worker, you'll deliver coordinated, person-centred support that helps young people thrive in their recovery journey. You'll work within an integrated service model that combines clinical expertise with holistic, non-clinical interventions to promote functional recovery for young people and their families. Embedded alongside local Hospital and Health Service early psychosis teams, you'll play a vital role in providing collaborative, youth-focused care across the region.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islandercommunities, CALD and LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those at risk of homelessness or suicide.
n
- Support capacity building, wellbeing skills, and psychoeducation and co-facilitate psychosocialgroup sessions and outreach activities.
n
- Support clients by linking them to services such as physical activities, housing, care coordinationand re-engagement with education, employment and day-to-day living
n
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with individuals from all walks of life.
n
- Implement knowledge of ethical considerations around confidentiality and professionalboundaries.
n

Requirements
n
n
- Experience as a Youth Worker or similar role in health, social or community services.
n
- Background in mental health and familiarity with trauma-informed practice and local services andsupport networks
n
- Current Driver Licence
n
- Current Blue Card
n
- Current National Police Check
n
- A Certificate IV in relative field
n
n
