Casual Experienced Individual Support Workers – Join BelleJoy!

BelleJoy Support has a number of casual positions available for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our passionate team in Newcastle, NSW. With houses located between Mayfield and Charlestown, you will provide personalised, compassionate care and support to our disabled clients, helping them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.

What you'll be doing

n

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and mobility support

n

Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community outings

n

Providing companionship, emotional support, and engaging in meaningful activities with clients

n

Documenting client progress and communicating with the wider care team

n

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

n

What we're looking for

n

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Individual Support Worker in a SIL home or similar role in the disability sector.

n

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Aged Care

n

Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others

n





Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

n

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

n

A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle

n

Australian work rights are required for this position

n

A valid Working with children check is required
