About The Client

n

Our client is a Australia wide Infrastructure, Civil, utilities construction and services contractor.

n

Due to newly landed major works projects they are now seeking an experienced senior projects engineer or projects engineer with a key background in Infrastructure utilities.

n

About the role & Day to Day duties

n

n
- Ensure that project engineering completion is on time and within budget. Record completed work, costs incurred, materials used and retain progress drawings.
n
- Manage on-site engineering functions through subordinates, which may include Project Engineers, and/or Cost/Planning Engineers.
n
- Obtain relevant design parameter information for incorporation into detailed designs and construction specifications.
n
- Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material, check work drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and conditions and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary.
n
- Coordinate the activities of an engineering team, programme work loads and provide technical and administrative guidance to the engineering staff to ensure aims and objectives are effectively and economically achieved.

Selection Criteria

n

n
- 5+ years project engineering experience
n
- Engineering degree - Utilities background
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n
- Two recent references




n
- Large infrastructure projects experience
n
- Strong communication skills & time management
n
