About the Role

Based in Doncaster, you will head out to sites to scope and estimate building reinstatement works for Large Loss Projects. This is a rapid-paced role for a motivated professional who knows current market rates, thrives under pressure, and wants a real career path.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

n

- Site & Estimation: Attend large loss sites to accurately estimate reinstatement works.
n
- Scoping: Interpret consultant reports and draft comprehensive scope of works documents.
n
- Financial Control:



Partner with supervisors to meet budgets and manage trade rates.
n
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, insurers, and sub-contractors during quotes.
n
- Site Access: Coordinate property access seamlessly with insured parties.
n
- Compliance: Ensure all inspections, certificates, and OH&S; documentation are signed off.
n

What We Are Looking For

We want a driven, high-energy professional who shows empathy toward clients during stressful insurance events.

- Insurance Building: Proven background in insurance building (essential).
n
- Estimating Expertise: Solid experience with building trades and current market rates (required).
n
- Qualifications: Trade/construction qualifications (advantageous) or remedial background (ideal).
n
- Organisation: Exceptional time management to handle multiple, competing priorities.
n
- Tech & compliance: Proficient in MS Excel, Project, and Word; strong OH&S; knowledge.
n
- Licence: Current Australian motor vehicle licence.
n

The successful candidate must have the right to work in Australia, be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and criminal background check where required.
