Job Description

What you'll be doing

n

Fitting and removing tyres from vehicles of various makes and models using appropriate equipment and techniques

n

Balancing wheels and tyres to manufacturer specifications to ensure smooth operation and vehicle safety

n

Performing wheel alignment checks and adjustments using modern alignment equipment

n

Inspecting tyres and wheels for damage, wear and defects, and advising customers on replacement or repair options

n

Maintaining accurate records of all services performed and parts used

n

Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards following policy and procedure.

n

Providing excellent customer service and communicating recommendations clearly to manager

n

Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment

n

Assisting with stockroom management and related materials

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter and/or Wheel Aligner in the automotive trades industry

n

Strong knowledge of tyre fitting, balancing and wheel alignment procedures

n

Proficiency with tyre fitting equipment, balancing machines and wheel alignment systems

n

Understanding of vehicle safety standards and relevant workplace health and safety regulations

n

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship

n

Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast‐paced workshop environment

n





Strong communication and customer service skills

n

Reliability and a positive approach to teamwork

n

A current valid driver's licence is essential

n

Relevant industry qualifications will be highly regarded
