We are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers for a busy precast manufacturing yard based in the Brisbane area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving and respected facility that services major construction and infrastructure projects across the state. With long-term projects ahead, your role will be secure and fulfilling.

As a Steel Fixer, you will play a vital role in the production of reinforced precast elements, ensuring all steel is accurately placed and secured according to drawings and specifications.

Your Role

n

n
- Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings and plans
n
- Cutting, bending, and tying steel to specifications
n
- Setting up steel reinforcements in moulds prior to concrete pour
n
- Working safely and effectively in a team environment
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Proven experience as a steel fixer in a construction or precast workplace
n
- Ability to read and interpret plans and reinforcement schedules
n




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
n
- A team player with a proactive attitude and reliability
n

n

Requirements

- WHS White Card
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n

n

- Daily Travel Allowance - $32/day

- Paid 7.2 ordinary hours/day + 0.80 RDO accrued daily
n
- Weekly Redundancy Contributions: BERT $62, BEWT $7, CIPQ $22.50

- Overtime paid at double time
