As Manager (Technical Services), you will provide strategic leadership and direction to a high-performing technical unit that supports the delivery of TMR's infrastructure programs. You will oversee a broad portfolio including design, GIS and asset management, preconstruction, materials testing, environmental and cultural heritage services, ensuring technical excellence, compliance and consistency across the district.

As Manager (Technical Services), you will also:

- Lead and inspire the Technical Services function, setting the strategic direction to ensure services and initiatives align with state-wide priorities and contribute to meaningful infrastructure outcomes.

- Champion excellence in governance, ensuring technical and administrative frameworks support compliance with legislation, policies, standards, and bestpractice infrastructure delivery.
n




- Build and strengthen technical capability by developing and implementing workforce strategies that leverage the expertise of permanent staff, contractors, and specialist consultants.
n
- Drive the successful delivery of a diverse program of work by partnering with key stakeholders and Technical Services leaders to optimise resources, maintain high standards, and meet customer and business needs.
n
- Manage and coordinate specialist consultants, ensuring services are delivered effectively and in line with contractual and performance expectations.
n
- Provide trusted strategic advice to the District Director and senior leaders on complex technical, operational, and service delivery matters.
n
- Contribute as a key member of the District Leadership Team, helping shape district-wide strategies, initiatives, and organisational priorities.
n
- Foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, and accountability, demonstrating the values of the Queensland Public Service and maintaining the highest ethical standards.
n
- Ensure protected, compliant, and efficient operations, maintaining high-quality service delivery while meeting all departmental, legislative, and workplace health and safety requirements.
