A Major Project Delivery Partner construction group with a strong forward pipeline is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager to join its delivery team on a midrise multi tower residential development in Kangaroo Point. This is a newly created role, established to strengthen site safety performance across the company across multiple projects, with an immediate focus on formwork and structural works within a self-perform environment.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and managing a WHSO team, this role will be responsible for driving best-practice safety outcomes across site, ensuring compliance, and uplifting safety culture across all work fronts. We need a strategic thinker!

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Implementation and enforcement of WHS systems and site safety compliance.
n
- Driving formwork safety standards across all structural activities for the project.
n
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
n
- Leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
n
- Coaching supervisors and trades to improve safety behaviours and accountability.
n
- Monitoring compliance with WHS legislation, codes,



and project requirements.
n
- Reporting safety performance, risks, and initiatives to project leadership.
n

Technical & Experience Requirements

n

n
- Qualifications in Workplace, Health in Safety with demonstrated experience in a comparable role within construction environments.
n
- Strong understanding of formwork and structural safety risks.
n
- Experience working on mid to high-rise or complex construction projects.
n
- Exposure to or experience with self-performed works (highly regarded).
n
- Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and site compliance requirements.
n
- Ability to influence, engage, and hold site teams accountable.
n
