Join the team making a difference to the lives of children and families across Central Queensland. As the region's major paediatric referral centre, Rockhampton Hospital's Paediatric Unit provides 24/7 care for newborns through to adolescents across a range of specialties.

Our 16-bed unit delivers family-centred inpatient, ambulatory and short stay care, with a strong focus on teamwork, collaboration and holistic care. You'll be part of a supportive team that values learning, professional development and delivering exceptional care to every child, every time.

About the role

- Provide advanced, specialist nursing care to children receiving oncology treatment and support their families throughout their journey.
n
- Lead with confidence, using your clinical expertise to make informed decisions and deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.
n
- Share your knowledge by providing expert advice, education and support to colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.
n
- Champion high standards of nursing practice, taking accountability for safe, quality care and helping drive continuous improvement.

About you
n
n
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
n
- Bring advanced experience in paediatric oncology and haematology, with postgraduate qualifications (or current enrolment) highly regarded.
n
- Be a confident clinical leader who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional family-centred care.
n
- Champion evidence-based practice, quality improvement and clinical excellence while helping shape the future of paediatric oncology services.

What we offer

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $4,202 p.m. is comprised of:
n

- An hourly rate between $70.92 - $77.00 p.h.
n
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
