We are seeking a motivated and reliableParts Interpreterto join our Coffs Harbour Parts Department. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, administration, and working in an active warehouse environment.

About the Role

n

You'll play a key role in ensuring parts enquiries and orders are accurately interpreted, processed, and delivered on time. Working closely with our workshop, service, and sales teams, you will provide professional support to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

n

Parts & Operations

n

n
- Interpret manufacturer manuals and catalogues to identify correct parts
n
- Process orders, quotes, and invoices accurately in the system
n
- Pick, pack, and dispatch parts including freight and branch transfers
n
- Maintain organised and accurate stockrooms and warehouse areas
n
- Help manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock holding
n

Customer Service

n

n
- Provide expert parts advice to retail, trade, and internal customers
n
- Handle enquiries both over the counter and via phone/email
n
- Promote specials and identify upselling opportunities
n
- Maintain clean, well-stocked retail displays with updated pricing
n

n





Administration & Finance

n

n
- Process stock order invoices and receipts
n
- Record lost sales and identify improvement opportunities
n

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is:

- Organised with strong attention to detail
n
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
n
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
n
- Interested in automotive or heavy vehicle parts
n
- Comfortable using computer systems
n

Skills & Requirements

n

n
- Parts Interpreter qualification(or years of experience)
n
- Previous experience in the motor or parts industry (preferred)
n
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Experience with warehousing or stock control (desirable)
n
- Ability to work a rotating Saturday roster
n
