We are looking for an experienced Furniture Upholsterer to join our small upholstery workshop. You will work alongside two other upholsterers and an experienced sewing machinist, producing new furniture in a friendly and hands-on manufacturing environment.

About the role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Upholstering bedheads,



bed frames and other furniture
n
- Working confidently with both fabric and leather
n
- Cutting fabric, leather, foam and other materials
n
- Making, adjusting and working from upholstery patterns
n
- Working from drawings, samples and production specifications
n
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and finish
n
- Assisting with new product development and prototypes when required
n
- Working with the team to meet production requirements
n

About you

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
- Has proven experience as a furniture upholsterer
n
- Has experience working with both leather and fabric
n
- Can cut materials and make upholstery patterns
n
- Can work independently and as part of a small team
n
- Takes pride in producing quality work
n
- Has strong attention to detail
n
- Is reliable, practical and able to meet production timeframes
n

n

Experience with bedheads and upholstered bedroom furniture would be highly regarded.
