About the Role: We are a busy, independent delicatessen and specialty wine store looking for an energetic Junior Retail Assistant to join our front-of-house team. If you have a genuine interest in good food and great drinks, and love delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

n

Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and effective customer service.

n

Assisting with food preparation, slicing, and deli counter service.

n

Helping customers navigate our selection of boutique wines and craft beverages.

n

Processing sales through the POS system and handling payments.

n

Maintaining store cleanliness, merchandising, and restocking shelves.

n

What We're Looking For:

Experience:



Previous experience in the retail liquor industry or restaurant/hospitality sector is essential.

n

Skills: Demonstrated food handling skills and an understanding of food safety standards.

n

Certifications: A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

n

Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.

n

Attributes: A reliable team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about the food & beverage industry.

n

Commitment: We are Industry leaders and will provide on job training to the right candidate.
