Global Fashion House is a well-established and fast-growing Australian fashion wholesaler, supplying trend-driven women's apparel to major retailers and boutiques across Australia and Recent Zealand.

We're looking for an experienced and commercially mindedFashion Product Developer / Fashion Designerto join our growing Design team.

n

Working closely with our Design Manager, Production and Sales teams, you'll play a key role in creating trend-led, commercially successful collections from concept through to production. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about women's fashion, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys turning ideas into products customers love to wear.

What You'll Be Doing

n

You'll be involved throughout the complete product development lifecycle across multiple women's fashion brands.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Research global fashion, colour, fabric and lifestyle trends
n
- Design commercially successful women's apparel collections across multiple product categories
n
- Develop seasonal concepts, prints, colour palettes and trend direction
n
- Create CADs, colourways and presentation boards using Adobe Illustrator
n
- Prepare detailed tech packs, garment specifications and measurement charts
n
- Build and maintain Excel range plans, costing sheets and product information
n
- Source fabrics, trims, washes and finishes to achieve customer expectations and target price points
n




- Liaise daily with offshore suppliers throughout product development
n
- Manage sample development, fittings, approvals and critical path timelines
n
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Production teams to deliver customer briefs
n
- Assist with product selection and range building based on commercial trends
n
- Maintain accurate product development records and seasonal documentation
n
- Ensure products meet quality, fit and delivery standards while achieving production timelines
n

About You

n

You have a genuine passion for fashion and understand how to translate trends into commercially successful products.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- 2+ years' experience in Fashion Product Development, Fashion Design, Buying or a similar role
n
- Strong commercial handwriting with an understanding of the Australian fashion market
n
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills (essential)
n
- Adobe Photoshop experience
n
- Experience creating CADs, technical specifications and tech packs
n
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit and fabrication
n
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
n
- Experience working with offshore manufacturers
n




- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
n
- Fashion Design, Buying & Merchandising or related qualification (preferred)
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience working with Australian fashion wholesalers or major retailers
n
- Knowledge of woven and knit apparel
n
- Print, textile or graphic design experience
n
- Experience with private label product development
n
- Understanding of costing and margin management
n
