Vision 2020 Hotel Group Pty Ltd is a leading hotel group in Geraldton, WA, Australia. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pastrycook to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $78000 to $80000, plus superannuation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a busy pastry kitchen and hold a Certificate 3 or above in pastry or baking. As a Pastrycook, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastry goods, including pies, quiches, sweet tarts, slices, bar cakes and other baked products for our Hightea, functions and weddings.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastry goods according to recipes and standards set by the company
n
- Ensure all products are made with high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully
n
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
n
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen
n




- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and effective service
n
- Assist with menu planning and development of new pastry items
n
- Train and mentor junior pastry staff
n
- Keep updated with industry trends and techniques
n

Requirements:

- Minimum of 12 months experience in a busy pastry kitchen
n
- Certificate 3 or above in pastry or baking
n
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and recipes
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
n
- Attention to detail and passion for creating high-quality pastry products
n
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
n
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
n
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
n
