Papillon Paediatrics is a private paediatric clinic in Hawthorn East. With a team of dedicated paediatricians and allied health practitioners, our mission is to provide an all-inclusive, high quality multidisciplinary team service. Our purpose-designed boutique clinic comes equipped with high quality new furnishings, web-based practice software, lots of natural light and a friendly, supportive admin team. We're looking for a registered psychologist to join our team on a contractor basis, in a role that genuinely works around your life.

Qualifications & experience

n

AHPRA registration as a psychologist

n

Experience working with children, adolescents and families

n

Confidence delivering therapy and/or assessment work

n

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

n

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

n

Values working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

Provide therapy for presentations including anxiety, mood and emotional regulation, behaviour support, trauma-informed work, parent coaching and family work.

n

Conduct Standardised assessments including cognitive, learning difficulties, ADHD,



Autism and FASD diagnostic assessments.

n

Deliver services in-clinic, via telehealth, or a mix of both.

n

Collaborate with the medical and allied health team on shared clients where relevant.

n

Maintain accurate case notes for clients using an electronic clinical record according to practice protocols and professional standards.
