About the role Xylem is looking for a Service Technician to join our team in Kalgoorlie. This is full-time, locally based role – no FIFO. You will perform both scheduled and emergency service work, including the disassembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and inspection of a variety of Xylem systems and products.

Duties

n

n
- Service, repair and overhaul pump sets and related equipment
n
- Install, test and commission pumps to operational standards before dispatch
n
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and scheduled field service across Goldfields region
n
- Communicate expert service advice to customers and internal teams
n
- Prepare and maintain accurate service records and documentation
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Trade qualification — fitter and turner, mech fitter, mechanic, small engine mechanic or electrical trades (essential)
n
- Prior workshop or field service experience in a similar mechanical role
n
- Exposure to pump systems or heavy mechanical equipment (preferred)




n
- MR licence and forklift ticket (desirable)
n
- Strong attention to detail and customer communication skills
n
