Pay rate: $59.05 - $71.70 per hour + Super Adelaide CBD | Full-Time | 6-Month Contract | Immediate Start

A well-respected South Australian Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Adviser to join their Procurement and Contract Management team on a 6-month full-time contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong public sector or complex procurement experience to contribute to high-value procurement and contract management outcomes. The role. As the Senior Procurement Adviser, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities and provide expert advice on procurement strategy, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract management. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will lead complex procurement projects and support the delivery of value-for-money outcomes across the agency.

Key responsibilities

- Lead complex procurement and sourcing projects from planning through to contract management.
n
- Develop procurement strategies, specifications and tender documentation.
n
- Manage tender processes, evaluations, negotiations and supplier engagement.
n
- Provide high-level procurement and commercial advice to internal stakeholders.
n




- Ensure compliance with government procurement policies, legislative requirements and best practice.
n
- Conduct commercial, financial and risk assessments to support procurement decisions.
n
- Contribute to procurement policy, process improvement and strategic sourcing initiatives.
n
- Prepare procurement reports, contract documentation and governance documentation.

About you

n

You will be an experienced procurement skilled with a strong understanding of public sector procurement, commercial evaluation and contract management.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Extensive experience managing complex procurement projects across the full procurement lifecycle.

- Strong knowledge of procurement strategy, tender evaluation and contract management.
n
- Excellent commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
n
- The ability to provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders.
n
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
n
- A sound understanding of government procurement frameworks and legislative requirements.
