ABOUT THE ROLE

n

We are seeking an experienced mortgage professional with strong customer service skills to coordinate the settlement process. The right candidate will have hands-on experience within a mortgage broking business and thrive in managing the transition from formal approval through to settlement, while providing long-term client support.

n

This is a key role as The Loan Room continues to grow. You'll work closely with a team of brokers to manage workflows, maintain proactive communication, and deliver outstanding client experiences.

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Manage home loan applications from formal approval through to settlement
n
- Provide regular client updates and liaise with lenders to meet requirements
n




- Follow detailed checklists and compliance requirements at every stage
n
- Support team members with loan processing needs
n
- Conduct post-settlement care: annual reviews, repricing, and ongoing client communication
n

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage processing/settlements within a brokerage
n
- Thorough understanding of multiple lenders' settlement process
n
- Excellent phone manner and a passion for client engagement
n
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
n
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
n
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace
n
- Self-motivated, positive, and proactive team player
