In this role, you'll be the first line of defence in the fight against pests, solving customer problems with expert advice and proactive service. This is a permanent, full-time role (38 hours), Monday to Friday, with rotating weekend rosters and wide-ranging start times. You'll manage a portfolio of clients across the Cairns region

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Maintain, load and unload your service vehicle efficiently each day to ensure you're fully prepared for your scheduled assignments.

- Conduct thorough inspections at both commercial and residential customer sites to identify signs of pest activity and determine appropriate treatment plans.
n
- Apply effective pest control solutions, and provide expert advice to customers on prevention and ongoing management.
n
- Identify hygiene risks and environmental concerns, working to create safer, healthier spaces for clients and their teams.
n
- Accurately complete digital service reports after each visit to document the work carried out and any recommendations.
n
- Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining a friendly, professional attitude during all interactions.
n
- Stay attentive to customer needs and look for opportunities to recommend additional services that add value and improve outcomes.

A Successful candidate will have:

n
- A full Australian Manual Drivers License with a clean driving record
n
- Certificate III in Urban Pest Management (If applicable)
n
- A clean criminal record
n
- A genuine love for the outdoors and the local environments
n
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain and grow client relationships
n
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to follow strict and evolving health & safety procedures
n
- Confidence using an Android mobile phone and related apps
n
- Comfortable working independently in the field, while also having a "one team" mindset
n
- Willingness to travel long distances within the region
n
- Being physically strong and able, comfortable working outdoors in varying environmental conditions
n

Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment assessment, including medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting Rentokil Initial's satisfactory criteria
