About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on and mechanically minded Filling & Packaging Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Technician to join our growing production team.
n
This is more than a standard machine operator role.
n
We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding how machinery works, setting up and fine-tuning equipment, diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions to keep production running efficiently.
n
You will play a key hands-on role in the setup, operation, changeover, troubleshooting and optimisation of our filling and packaging equipment across a broad range of cosmetic and personal care products.
n
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with filling or packaging machinery and a strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with exposure to pneumatics, pumps, valves, sensors and basic electrical fault finding.
n
You don't necessarily need to be a qualified fitter or electrician. We are looking for someone who is naturally mechanically minded, enjoys troubleshooting machinery and takes pride in getting equipment running at its best.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Set up, adjust and operate liquid, cream and semi-viscous filling and packaging machinery
n
- Perform production line setups and changeovers between different products and packaging formats
n
- Troubleshoot filling, capping, labelling, conveyor and other production equipment
n
- Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and make practical adjustments to minimise downtime
n
- Work with pneumatic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, sensors and other machine components
n
- Assist with basic electrical fault finding involving sensors, switches, connections and machine controls
n
- Fine-tune machinery to improve filling accuracy, reliability, output and overall line performance
n
- Assist with preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment issues before they result in breakdowns
n
- Complete equipment strip-down, cleaning, reassembly and preparation between production runs
n
- Identify opportunities to improve changeover times, efficiency and equipment reliability
n
- Complete all required production and GMP documentation accurately
n
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
n
- Work closely with production, QA/QC and management to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
n
- Support and guide other production operators in the correct operation of machinery

n
- A proactive approach to reducing downtime and improving equipment performance
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
n

n
You'll have the opportunity to work with different machinery, products and packaging formats while continually developing your technical and troubleshooting skills.

n
Consistent Monday to Friday day-shift hours with strong long-term career potential.
