Key Responsibilities

n

Deliver community-based maternal and child health assessments, screening, and follow-up care for infants and young children. Provide evidence-based health education to parents, caregivers, and community groups on breastfeeding, nutrition, sleep, development, and safety. Coordinate referrals to allied health, specialist services,



and local support agencies when required.

Undertake home visits, clinic sessions, and outreach services across rural and regional settings. Maintain accurate clinical records, report on service outcomes, and contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.

Selection Criteria

n

Registered Nurse or Midwife with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and current AHPRA registration. Minimum 2 years relevant experience; candidates with 3–30+ years of experience are encouraged to apply. Proven ability to work with families from diverse cultural backgrounds and to provide trauma-informed care.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills with sound decision-making under community conditions. Eligible to work in Australia: Australian citizen, permanent resident, or on a valid work visa. What
