What's involved

n

n
- Assist with leading a team of horticultural staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
n
- Horticultural maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and fertilising
n
- Maintaining ornamental gardens, hedges, lawns,



and feature planting areas to premium presentation standard
n
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and irrigation systems safely and effectively
n
- Seasonal planting, turf renovation, and landscape improvement projects
n
- Identify and treat plant pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
n
- Collaborate with grounds and facilities staff to support events
n

About You

n

- You have a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens and excellent working knowledge of all of the techniques, tools and equipment used in the field.
n
- You are willing to obtain a White Card, Working with Children's and a National Police check if you don't already have them.
n
- You pride yourself on your well-honed communication skills.
n
- Most importantly you have proven ability to effectively prioritise workflows, impart knowledge to others and be a mature and reliable team player.
