Graduate Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking applications for graduate or junior engineering geologists or geotechnical engineers to service our growing number and range of projects across Australia.

n

The role offers the opportunity to work with our passionate team on a diverse portfolio of design and investigation projects, including national-scale transport infrastructure, renewable energy, and multi-level commercial developments.

n

The key responsibilities of the role are:

n

n
- Work under the guidance and instruction of senior engineers.
n
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists, and sub-consultants at a national level.
n
- Implement all company and project-specific health and safety requirements.
n
- Undertake a variety of geotechnical and geological fieldwork tasks, including site investigations, drilling, sampling and logging of soils and rocks.
n
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
n
- Understand, uphold, and communicate D&N;'s Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management system.
n

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.
n
- A passion for working in the field.
n
- A degree qualified in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
n
- A commitment to health and safety and working within the company's HSEQ system.
n
- A commitment to learn & expand your knowledge of the industry.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Australian working rights or be able to present a clear pathway to obtaining them.
