Lister House Medical Clinic is a privately owned Medical Practicethat has been operating since 1936 and has experienced exponential growth.

We require an Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly team part time – the number of days and hours may be tailored to suit the clinic and the candidate's needs.

n

Lister House Medical Clinic has 17 Doctors, as well as hosting medical students and visiting specialists. The Clinic currently has 8 Nurses specialising in diabetes education, theatre, care plans and health assessments, as well as 15 + support staff.

n

Some of the Duties performed in the role include but are not limited to:

n

- Assisting GP's with Minor Procedures
n
- Wound Care and Dressings
n
- Injections and Immunisations
n
- ECG, Audiometry and Spirometry
n
- MaintainingTreatment Rooms to accreditation standards
n
- Triaging patients and prioritising of emergency situations
n




- Assist patient with Careplans & Health Assessments
n
- Cold chain management
n

Qualifications, Skills and experience

n

n
- Enrolled Nurse
n
- Current AHPRA registration with a mimimum of 2 years experience
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as a strong team player
n
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
n
- Competency with technology and ability to learn the required softwareFull peer support from an experienced Practice Team
n
- Skilled working relationship focusing on the high quality of service provided to our patients
n
- Clinic opening hours that provide a fantastic work / life balance
n
- Applicants must provide current Police and Working with Children checks as well as provide their current Immunisation status.
