Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent chance to join a well‐established food manufacturing business offering long‐term stability, a supportive team environment and a competitive hourly rate.

Previous food manufacturing experience is not essential. However, applicants must have experience maintaining machinery within a manufacturing or industrial production setting.

Please note: We're seeking electricians with hands‐on maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial production environments.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
n
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
n
- Complete planned maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules
n
- Fault find across electrical control systems and production equipment
n
- Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
n
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
n
- Work collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability
n

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
n
n
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
n
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial production environment
n
- Solid fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
- PLC fault‐finding experience will be highly regarded
n
- Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
n
- Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
