About The Role
n The Payroll Manager plays a vital role in keeping our chi flowing behind the scenes. With over 1,000 team members and more joining us each week, we're looking for a detail driven, people focused leader to own and manage our end to end payroll processes across Australia.

n This is a hands on role for someone who loves the fast paced rhythm of hospitality, thrives in a multi site environment, and brings a strong understanding of award interpretation and compliance. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll work closely with Operations, People & Culture, and Talent Acquisition to ensure every Yo-Chi team member is paid accurately, compliantly, and on time - every time. Tanda Time and Attendance experience is essential to be able to drive new system implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and process weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees in line with the Fast Food Industry Award
n
- Lead and develop a small team of 2-3 part time payroll staff
n
- Manage time and attendance systems (Tanda), including onboarding, roster checks, and leave approvals
n
- Ensure compliance with superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax across multiple states
n




- Maintain accurate employee records, partnering with Ops and Talent teams to ensure data integrity
n
- Interpret award conditions and support internal audits and payroll queries
n
- Continuously improve payroll processes and workflows to support our scale up journey
n

You'll bring:

n

n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll leadership or senior payroll officer role
n
- Demonstrated experience as an expert user across Tanda Time and Attendance
n
- In depth knowledge and end to end payroll processing
n
- A solid understanding of the Fast Food Industry Award or similar high volume awards
n
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and an ability to meet tight deadlines
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
