Lifestyle Coordinator – Aged Care – East Melbourne

Are you an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator looking for the opportunity to lead and enhance a meaningful lifestyle program within a supportive residential aged care environment?

We are partnering with a leading aged care provider to recruit a passionate and innovative Lifestyle Coordinator for a well-established residential service located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

n

The Opportunity

n

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to take ownership of a 7-day lifestyle program and make a genuine impact on resident engagement and wellbeing.

n

You will lead a team of Lifestyle Assistants and volunteers, supporting the delivery of a varied program that caters for residents with different interests, abilities and care needs, including those living with cognitive impairment and within the Memory Support Unit.

n

The successful candidate will bring fresh ideas, solid organisation and leadership capability to continue developing and diversifying the existing program.

About the Role

- Monday to Friday position
n
- Lead and coordinate a 7-day lifestyle program
n
- Provide guidance and support to a team of Lifestyle Assistants and volunteers
n
- Ensure activities are appropriately planned, allocated and delivered across the service
n
- Develop engaging programs that support residents' wellbeing, independence and interests
n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 2 year experience as a Lifestyle Coordinator within residential aged care
n
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (Lifestyle & Leisure) – essential
n
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
n
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating a lifestyle team
n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a 7-day program
n
- Creative, proactive and resident‐focused approach
n
- Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with residents, families and teams
n
