FULL TIME CONTRACT FROM OCTOBER 2 2026 - JAN 2028

Applicants must have completed or be willing to undertake:

n

Mandatory Foundations of child safety training (geecko)

n

CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk

n

They will need to provide a criminal history check conduct by NSW Police or Australian Federal Police (undertaken in last 6 months)

n

They will need to provide a working with children check and must complete a prohibited employee declaration statement as per our organisation Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct.

n

2 referees names and contact numbers must be supplied and 1 must be a child-related employment reference.

n

Elermore Vale Community Preschool and Early Learning Centre is seeking dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our vibrant and nurturing team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years.

What you'll be doing

n

Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that foster the holistic development of children

n

Providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth

n

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to inform future planning and individualised learning

n

Building positive relationships with children, families and the broader community

n

Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and safety

n





Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your practice

n

What we're looking for

n

Diploma in Early Childhood Education qualifications.

n

Experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting

n

Minimum 1 year of early childhood education experience is required.

n

A genuine passion for nurturing and educating young children

n

Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and colleagues

n

A commitment to inclusive and respectful practices that support the diverse needs of all children

n

A current Working with Children Check and positive clearance on a National Police check

n

First Aid certificate can be obtained within 3 months of starting employment.

n

A robust commitment to Child Safety and the ability to supervise diligently.

n

Australian citizenship or permanent residency status is required.
