VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Housing Specialist to support a U.S. diplomatic housing program on a Department of State contract.This is an overseas position working onsite in Melbourne, Australia.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

n

The ideal candidate will be able to successfully identify residential properties, negotiate lease agreements, coordinate property inspections, manage landlord relationships, and ensure residences meet security, safety, and quality standards.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct residential property searches based on client requirements
n
- Negotiate residential lease agreements and lease extensions
n
- Coordinate security, safety, and facility inspections
n
- Liaise with landlords regarding repairs, maintenance, and property improvements
n
- Manage lease administration and landlord payments
n
- Coordinate occupancy preparation, furnishings, and move-in readiness
n
- Maintain accurate property and lease documentation
n
- Support ongoing maintenance and emergency repair coordination
n

Basic Qualifications

n

n
- 3+ years of residential leasing or property management experience
n
- Knowledge of Melbourne residential rental regulations
n
- Strong negotiation and client service skills
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n




- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties simultaneously
n

n

Desired Qualifications

n

n
- Licensed Real Estate Agent, Property Manager, or equivalent qualification
n
- Experience with US Diplomat or Military Officer Overseas Housing
n
- Experience supporting embassy, diplomatic, expatriate, relocation, or corporate housing programs
n
- Familiarity with furnished housing, lease administration, and vendor management
n
- Experience coordinating property inspections, maintenance activities, and landlord negotiations
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
n
