About the Role

n

As a Radiology Nurse, you will play an integral role in ensuring our patients receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care throughout their imaging journey.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Patient assessment, preparation and education prior to imaging procedures
n
- Cannulation and intravenous contrast administration
n
- Monitoring patients before, during and after contrast-enhanced examinations
n
- Assisting radiologists with interventional and ultrasound-guided procedures
n
- Recognising and managing adverse contrast reactions and medical emergencies
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
n
- Infection prevention and control
n
- Supporting continuous quality improvement and accreditation standards
n




- Delivering exceptional patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
- Previous experience working within a radiology or diagnostic imaging practice
n
- Demonstrated experience with IV cannulation and contrast administration
n
- Current CPR certificate (ALS highly regarded)
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
n
- A calm, professional approach with excellent attention to detail
n
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
