Our client, a leading provider of smart building technology, IoT, and ICT infrastructure solutions has a new and exciting prospect for an experienced ICT professional with 3-4 years experience to join their growing team!

This role is based inSydney, NSW,and involves a combination ofoffice and site-based work.In accordance with client requirements, applicants must hold Australian citizenship.

The Role

n

As anICT Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ICT systems, networks, and communication infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering innovative solutions whilst ensuring system security, reliability, and efficiency.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, configure, and maintain ICT systems, including servers, firewalls, switches and wifi.
n
- Troubleshoot both onsite & remote to resolve ICT and network-related issues promptly.
n
- Manage system security, backups, and data integrity processes.
n
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand and meet SLA's.
n

About You

n

We are looking for an ICT professional who is technically skilled, highly organized, and proactive.

n

Essential Qualifications and Skills

n

n
- 3-4 years industry experiencein ICT engineering or a related role.
n
- Australian Citizen in order to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
n
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications.
n
- Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VLAN, and DNS.
n
- ValidAustralian driver's license(mandatory for site-based work).
n





n

Technical Must-Haves

n

n
- Hands-on experience with ICT and networking equipment (routers, switches, and servers).
n
- Knowledge of wireless networking standards and communication technologies.
n
- Familiarity with ICT security best practices (cyber security is preferred and the framework ie. Essentials 8) and implementation.
n
- Understanding of cabling systems, including fiber and copper.
n
- Ability to document and manage ICT systems effectively.
n

n

A Perfect Fit For this Role

- Certifications such asCCNA,CompTIA Network+, orMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
n
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)..
n
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
n
- Experience using ICT monitoring and management tools (NMS & Syslog).
n
