We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Dock Hands and experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy transport and logistics company based in Dandenong. These are ongoing casual positions with an immediate start available for the right candidates.

Dock Hand

n

As a Dock Hand, you will be responsible for manually unloading crates onto a conveyor belt, then unloading the conveyor belt into waiting trucks. This is a physically demanding role requiring repetitive lifting throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manually unload crates onto a conveyor belt.
n
- Transfer freight from the conveyor belt into trucks.
n
- Perform repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting safely.
n
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
n
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet operational deadlines.
n

To Be Successful You Will Have

- Previous warehouse, transport or labouring experience preferred.
n
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
n
- The ability to perform repetitive manual handling throughout your shift.
n
- A commitment to working safely at all times.

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

We are also seeking experienced Forklift Operators with strong loading and unloading experience. This role involves operating a forklift fitted with double tines to load and unload trucks in a fast-paced transport environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
n
- Operate a forklift with double tines.
n
- Move freight throughout the warehouse and loading dock.
n
- Complete pre-start checks and operate equipment safely.Follow site procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
n

- Proven experience loading and unloading trucks.

- Experience operating a forklift with double tines.
n
- A robust focus on safety and attention to detail.

- Reliable attendance and the ability to work in a busy team environment.
