Job Description

RCC Civil is seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our team on a civil construction project based in Rockhampton, Queensland.

n

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will safely and efficiently operate plant and equipment while supporting the delivery of high-quality civil works.

Key responsibilities

n

- Safely operate plant and equipment.
n
- Complete daily pre-start inspections and routine operator maintenance.
n
- Keep machinery clean and in secure working condition.
n
- Report plant faults, breakdowns and servicing requirements.
n
- Complete daily dockets and plant records in Procore.
n
- Follow site plans, instructions and approved work methods.
n
- Comply with all safety, environmental and quality requirements.
n
- Attend site meetings, pre-starts, toolbox talks and inductions.
n
- Assist with general site duties when required.
n

About you

n

n




- Previous plant operating experience in civil construction.
n
- Current relevant plant tickets or evidence of competency.
n
- Current White Card and driver's licence.
n
- Ability to read basic plans, levels and site instructions.
n
- Sound knowledge of daily plant maintenance requirements.
n
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work with minimal supervision.
n
- Ability to work the required project roster.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n
- Experience using Procore or similar construction management software will be highly regarded.
n
