Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an chance for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Wagga Branch.

n

Any qualified light vehicle or plant mechanics looking for a change are also encouraged to apply! Wagga Trucks can assist you to transfer your skills to a heavy vehicle qualification with as little as only 45 days of TAFE to complete.

n

Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions

n

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections

n

Identify and rectify mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment

n

Maintain accurate service records and job cards

n

Comply with all workshop safety standards and procedures

n

Liaise with other team members and departments as needed

n

Requirements:

n





Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)

n

Experience working on a range of heavy trucks

n

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

n

A commitment to safe work practices and quality standards
