Applicants must be available to work a flexible roster and be available 24/7 including public holidays to meet the business' needs. This is full time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Ensure bread quality and range are up to standard and delivered in a timely manner to meet customer demands.
n
- Maintain an effective relationship with all team members of the Bakery.
n
- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
n
- Decorating cakes with glazes, icings,



butter-cream and edible toppings.
n
- Preparing pastry fillings.
n
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
n

Tobe considered for this role, you need to be able to meet the following

n

- Flexible availability to work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 2am)
n
- Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff
n
- Portray a positive attitude
n
- Maintain an effective relationship with all team members of the Bakery
n
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills
n
- Have a sound knowledge of food handling and food safety
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
n
- Previous Bakers Delight or similar bakery experience would be an advantage.
n
- Applicants with Minimum of 3 years' experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have priority for this role.
n
