Bourke Air has over 40 years of experience delivering high-quality commercial mechanical services across Melbourne. We specialise in HVAC installations including VRV/VRF systems, boilers, heat pumps, chillers and ventilation systems.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a highly organised Drafting Coordinator to join our team in Dandenong South.

The Role

n

Working closely with our Project Managers, Drafting Team, Site teams and Builders, you'll coordinate the drafting function across multiple commercial HVAC projects.

n

This is a coordination role—not a drafting role. Previous drafting experience isn't essential but welcomed. If you have experience coordinating people, programmes or projects within construction, HVAC or a similar industry, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll ensure drawings are progressing to programme, subcontractors are meeting deadlines, and project documentation is delivered on time to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate internal and external drafting resources.
n




- Schedule and monitor drafting deliverables across multiple projects.
n
- Liaise with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients.
n
- Track drawing progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
n
- Coordinate drawing revisions and project documentation.
n
- Maintain project programmes and proactively manage deadlines.
n
- Identify potential delays and communicate solutions.
n

About You

- Exceptional organisational and coordination skills.
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
n
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Experience in commercial construction, HVAC, engineering or a project environment is highly regarded.
n
- Confident using Microsoft Office and generating gantt charts
n
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions focused.
n
- Experience coordinating subcontractors or project teams is advantageous.
